Clayton is growing fast. If you live here, work here, run a business here, raise a family here, or simply care about where this town is headed and where it’s been, you’re in the right place.

With so much happening so quickly, it can be hard to keep up. But an informed community is a stronger community. That’s why I’m starting The Clayton Dispatch.

The goal is simple: create a useful, independent local source for Clayton news, events, and community information.

We’re starting with The Weekender, a free weekly newsletter that will give readers a quick, readable rundown of what happened this week and what’s happening this weekend.

Each week, The Weekender will include:

  • Local news and town updates
  • Downtown business notes
  • Growth and development watch
  • Weekend events
  • Community stories, old and new
  • Local opinions and interviews
  • Questions and issues Clayton residents care about and want explained clearly

This is not meant to be noise for the sake of noise. It’s not gossip. It’s not clickbait. This is the local coverage Clayton deserves: clear, useful, and rooted in the community.

We’re going to give people a better way to understand what’s going on and what is shaping the place we call home.
